FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE  November 7, 2006
Product line expanded for Jewish scrapbookers worldwide.

Walnut Creek, California. Shalom Scrapper has expanded its product line to include dozens of custom Jewish themed archival paper cut outs, phrases and headlines (known within the industry as die cuts). Scrapbooking is a $2.5 billion dollar industry with over 32 million individuals (1). Worldwide there are over 13.3 million followers of the Jewish faith.

“Die cuts are a popular way to embellish a scrapbook layout and add an additional level of expression to a page that only has photos and journaling,” states Rachel Simon, co-owner of Shalom Scrapper.

Die cut selection exists for Jewish scrapbookers on the open market but with very limited designs. Shalom Scrapper hopes to provide Jewish scrapbookers with an expanded offering of products to meet their needs.

“While designing our die cuts from scratch we wanted to create offerings that are not only beautiful but meaningful within a Jewish context,” stated Jason Simon, co-owner of Shalom Scrapper. All of the die cuts that Shalom Scrapper has developed are original.

Shalom Scrapper originally launched with a line of 26 archival quality unique Jewish themed papers which cover major Jewish life events, holidays and cultural activities. Customers will find die cuts to represent religious items, cultural phrases, holiday-specific titles and imagery for Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, B'rit Milah/Baby Namings, Jewish Weddings, and other Jewish family traditions. Shalom Scrapper is both a retailer and wholesaler for scrapbooking stores and Temple Judaic shops. For more information, contact Shalom Scrapper at info@shalomscrapper.com or (925) 451-3529. Interested parties can also access Shalom Scrapper at its company website, Shalom Scrapper.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE  November 1, 2006
Jewish scrapbookers worldwide have a new company devoted just to them.

Walnut Creek, California. With over 2.5 billion dollars spent annually by an estimated 1,000,000 individuals who document their lives through photos, journaling, and creative work with paper, a new company has emerged to meet an under-served segment.

“Shalom Scrapper is a result of 7 years of frustration of not being able to find quality creative papers to scrapbook my family's Jewish life and traditions. I wanted my Jewish scrapbook pages to be just as beautiful as the other experiences I was documenting for my family with the thousands of other non-Jewish papers on the market” stated Rachel Simon, co-owner of Shalom Scrapper.

Very little selection exists for Jewish scrapbookers on the open market and, in some instances, corporations have unknowingly made cultural or religious mistakes with their products. Shalom Scrapper is owned and operated by a Jewish family and customers will find their products culturally and religiously appropriate.Co-owner Jason Simon adds, “it is very important to us that Jewish children remember the holidays, life events and religious milestones that occur in Judaism. Parents can document the investment they have made in their children to connect them to the Jewish faith. It is our hope that - in some small way - Shalom Scrapper will perpetuate pride and loyalty to a collective Jewish experience in a time when it is increasingly becoming tougher to instill.”

The company has launched a line of 26 archival-quality unique Jewish themed designs, which cover major Jewish life events, holidays and cultural activities. Customers can find papers for Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, B'rit Milah/Baby Namings, Jewish Weddings, and major Jewish Holidays. Shalom Scrapper is both a retailer and wholesaler for scrapbooking stores and Judaic shops. For more information contact Shalom Scrapper at info@shalomscrapper.com or (925) 451-3529.
